|| With either WIndows 2000 or XP, Microsoft includes a fax service
|| that is an optional windows installation. It is there, you just
|| assumed the worse and did not look or query Windowss Help.

| Do you think you are telling me something I don't already know? I
| used the fax when I had W2K and I use it now with XP Pro. Did you
| read my post or are you replying to someone else other than myself?

|||| I'll take your word for it - but in office products - it always
|||| says "send to" person via, e-mail, fax, etc. E-fax is a paid
|||| service -
|||| and typically a person with a home office or even at work would use
|||| a modem. There still should be an option there. Just my thought -
|||| I wrote to microsoft.
|||
||| Yeah, there is, when you right click on a Word doc., for example,
||| you see "Print" as an option and don't need to do the extra work of
||| going down to Send to

I have W2K and it doesn't have a fax
||| option in
||| the Send to menu. I suppose, MS made some cash putting eFax in
||| there. Seems to be the trend nowadays ...
