Does anyone know how to properly use the connectors in Visio?

What Im trying to do: Move the boxes around, I want the connectors to follow
HOWEVER if they come across another box I want them to go around it not just
straight through it. Can anyone help?

Hi Alexandra,

What you want is the default behavior in Visio. If the connector is not
routing around a particular box, then it could be that that box doesn't have
a connector attached to it.

A box can be set to be "routed around" in one of two ways:

- Format > Behavior > Placement tab - there's a "Placement behavior"
drop-down list there.
- Connect a connector to the box, then remove the connector. This sets the
"route-around" behavior.
