Does MS Project store other MS docs (Excel, PP, Visio, Word)

If I purchase MS project, can I insert other MS documents relavent to the
project so when utilizing Project, I can see there is a document relavent to
that particular line or task, click it and the Excel, PP, Visio or Word doc
will open, can be edited and save again?

Hi,

You can insert the documents as objects, but I'm reluctant to do that in
case of file corruption. My preferred method is to add hyperlinks to other
files. A click on the Hyperlink symbol on the task then opens the file for
editing.

For Hyperlinks to continue working over time you need to make sure your
master copy keeps the same name and location all the time. Only add date
codes etc. to backup copies of the file otherwise the Hyperlink stops
working.
