Does person sending reminder to have to have Project?

I have MS Project 2003 on my system but there are several other people
involved in the project I'm working that do not have Project loaded up on
theirs. I know that it would behoove them to have it installed but the cost
is too much for them.

I'm hoping that I can send them a reminder and they can email me their
status back. Is there a way to send reminders to these people without
Project?

If you are trying to use Project as a stand alone product (without Project
Server) out of the box, this is not possible. Collaborate/Request Project
Information... works with Project Server.

However, there are some Macros that allow integration with Microsoft Outlook
that you can probably modify to meet your needs. Check here:
