doing a homepage

Hello!

My doughter has a horse at a stable called Kilanda.
She wants to do a home page about this Kilanda where there is 6 horses owned
by different persons.
There will be no database involved. The main home page will contain about 10
different section labels and when one of these is clicked there will be some
information presented and some pictures.

I'm going to help my doughter with this. This home page will be stored on a
web server that is owned by my internet provider which is Telia.

I think I will use Frontapage as a tool for creating my homepage do you
think
this is a good choice?

Is it possible to use Frontpage on windows XP proffessional?

Yes, certainly

Yes, certainly

This seems like a straightforward project. I have a home page provided by my
ISP http://tandcl.homemail.com.au/ and I have a similar setup. (Open it and
click on Picture Album if you want to see it). The only thing I had to watch
out for was exceeding the allowance.

How many pictures?

You should optimise them which means reducing them in size and resolution. A
good free program to do this is IrfanView at http://www.irfanview.com/. The
images should be about 50Kb in size, so if your ISP has a 10MB limit, this
allows for quite a few images.

Good luck and post back with any problems/queries
