Hi all
I had a virus and ended up reformatting my HD. I have
Office 2000 pro and have been trying to reinstall it. I
have Windows XP. About halfway done it'll stop and give
me an error message that a font can't be found. The
first time it was Outlook.ttf so I found that on a site
and put it in my fonts folder. My sister did delete some
fonts but it was stuff we didn't think we'd use (we
don't use Outlook). I now got the same error that
WingDngs2.ttf can't be found. The error says to be sure
*I* can find it and then "retry" or "cancel". I don't
have that font so I had to cancel. As before I can go
find it on a font site but I'm wondering what all this is
about since it seems stupid not to be able to install an
entire program for lack of some font. I thought they'd be
on/in Windows to reinstall but sure can't find them. I
wondered if anyone knows what fonts I need so I don't
have to go thru this 25 times trying to install and then
having to go find a font. Or is there some way to install
this and not add these fonts I will never use? Surely an
entire 2000 pro program can't be impossible to put on the
comp for lack of some fonts it wants? Thank you ,
