Don't want Preview Pane: How To question

A

Alex Serrano

Hi!
Does anyone know if there is a way to not have preview
pane be the default setting? I am having to hide this
pane for every folder and it's a pain, I guess it's a
Preview Pane Pain.

Thanks

Start Outlook from Start-> Run with the /nopreview command line switch. You
can also define this in your Outlook shortcut.

Another way is to simply shut off Preview Pane under View
for each folder in Outlook you don't want Preview Pane
set for. Click on the folder, say Inbox. If it has
Preview Pane set, go to View|Preview Pane.

Might work as well. It did for me. I did each for each
folder I didn't want Preview Pane set for.

Yes, but if you have lots and losts of folders the command switch works
best.
