I'm publishing our first e-newsletter for our nonprofit and I've been solving
all my problems myself so far but this one I'm stuck on. When I convert my
Publisher document to pdf, and mail the pdf as an attachment to myself as a
test, and then open it, the hyperlinks to email addresses in the pdf show up
as "mailto:mailto:[email address]", so if you don't manually delete that, it
becomes undeliverable. I can't delete the "mailto:" in the Publisher file
when I'm adding a hyperlink to an email address. How can I prevent this from
happening??

I think this bug was fixed with the Office add-in with the last Office 2007
SP, if you happen to have a link to that.

Are you using Acrobat? This is not happening when I use Acrobat. Nor does
this happen when I use the PDF *save as* add-in Microsoft offers for
Office 2007. This add-in will preserve hyperlinks even when the email
address isn't spelled out.

David, and Mary,
Thank you both. This was exactly what it was. I downloaded the Service Pack
and that solved my problem. I appreciate your help!
