Double spacing

Everytime I hit enter to start a new line in my publication the program
double spaces and i don't want it to. I'm new to publisher and I've looked
everywhere to stop this but obviously I'm not looking in the right place.
Can someone help?

High-light your text, Format menu, Paragraph, Type 1sp between lines. Be certain
there are zeros in the before and after boxes.

Are you using a template? This would be the only time double-spacing would be
the default. Normal text boxes have 1sp between lines as a default.

Highlight the text in question, click on format/paragraph and change the
spacing between lines.
