Download a template and keep it?

When I click the download button for a template, it downloads, opens my
Publisher, and shows there. But if I close it down (without saving as a
publication), it's not reflected in my templates when I open Publisher next
time. What am I doing wrong? Many thanks!

After you download the template, the first thing you want to do is go to
File > Save As and change the file type to "Publisher Template". Once saved,
close out. Then open Publisher, and when you go to File > New, the template
will appear under "My Templates"

It can't be reflected unless it's saved! While it's open, go to File /
Save as... and in the "save as type" drop-down, select Publisher
template. HTH
