Download gps digital images?

A colleague needs to download pictures from a Ricoh digital camera with 'gps'
satelite text information embeded in the picture. Can any advise whether
Picture Manager, Digital Image Pro9 or any other similar 'recognised'
software can cope with this please? Our IT department does not allow 'camera
software' to be installed on staff pcs.....
