downloaded updates bug

win 98 office 2000

I have just loaded the office updates from microsoft and now I am constantly
getting a box that tells me a program is trying to access my email.

It does not matter whether I click yes, no or the x in the corner, it will
not go away. If I click yes it goes away and then comes back.

Does anyone know what this is and how can I get rid of it?

Ta,
Martin

These are the new security updates for Outlook saying that program other
than Outlook is trying to access your contacts to send mail to. It does this
for a reason so what are you trying to do when you get this pop-up. If
"nothing" you could be having a virus. Do an update on your virusscanner and
scan your harddisk.

Hope this helps!
