Hey Mac Folks,

Does anyone know how to have Entourage email (for MAC 2008) automatically download all photographs in in inbox?

I'd love them to always load. After a lot of research, I discovered that in Preferences>Mail & News>View there's a click box option for "Show attached picture and movies" but that does not seem to work. I click it, and restart, and still, the pics don't load.

Also, I found somewhere that if theres a contact in my addressbook, both Entourage and in Apple AddressBook it should load. That doesn't work either.

I called MS, and they insisted I'd have to use up 1 of my only 2 permitted questions, and suggested I post here instead.

Any thoughts" is this a known bug, perhaps?

Thanks,
Naws

Although I use E'rage as a newsreader that doesn't include images. If you
need specific help on issues like this you'd be better of to ask in the
Entourage group rather than the Word group. Even those here who use the
program may not have the insights those in the E'rage group possess -
especially when things don't seem to work as they "should". Sometimes *we*
have to go ask *them*:)

Just a funny re the importance of getting questions in the right
group---I didn't even understand this question properly. I thought he
wanted to do a sort of batch "save all photos that people have emailed
me to the hard drive where I can import them into iPhoto". Yet somehow,
when I read the question in the Erage newsgroup, it meant something
completely different to me.

Kinda lends credence to the axiomatic "out of context" phrase, huh?

OK, OK! I messed up. Sorry. Forgive me. Got it. I didn't realized I'd posted this in the wrong group at first, then later got it in the Entourage section.

Thanks

I'd delete this if I could...

Don't worry about it: At least YOU are on a Mac :)

Most of the "Ooops" posts we get in here spill over from the PC Word groups,
and we have no idea what THEY are talking about :)

Cheers
