Draw box insertion feature in office 2003

I would like to turn off the draw box insertion feature in office 2003. When
using the draw facility in Word, it place an drawing box in the text which is
annoying. How do I turn it off

Tools, options, general tab, clear "Automatically create drawing canvas...."
