Drawing a line that fits the page?

Could anyone tell me how to draw a line (to separate two paragraphs)
that fits exactly the page?

Your best bet would be to use a paragraph border (Format | Borders and
Shading) applied to the bottom of one paragraph or the top of the other; set
the "distance from text" on the left and right to 0 points.
