Drawing Canvas

I've created a photo album and use the drawing canvas to incorporate picture
and text box. It's easier to copy the canvas from page to page, but the
formating of the drawing canvas (it's layout) doesn't remain constant. Is
there a way to make the drawing canvas format remain constant when copied
from one page to another?

Hi John,

What version of Word are you using and what are the steps you use to copy and paste the Canvas?

What inconsistencies in the formatting are you seeing in the picture, or text box, or canvas properties?

Are you populating the canvas before or after copying?

Word 2003 and I do put pix and text before copying. I right-click on the
shaded drawing canvas border and choose "Copy". When I paste it into a new
page, the canvas, previously formatted to be 'centered' on the margins, and
at the top relative to the margin, has reverted to an arbitrary placement.
I'd like it to remain as "Centered" and "Top" but I haven't figured out how
to do that.
