Drawings duplicate

A word 2002 file sent to me by a consultant contains an
org chart type of drawing. I do not know what program he
may/may not have created it in but it could even have been
done with a series of text boxes and arrows within Word as
they can all be manipulated exactly like text boxes.
The problem is; I can resize them, add text to them and
move them - a co-worker that needs the same file however
cannot do anything. She moves a box and it creates a
duplicate, she resizes it - it duplicates. She has no
control over any part of it.

Please help, this is the strangest thing I have ever seen
and it makes no sense. I looked at everything in Options
and see no difference between our PCs.

Thank you
Deborah

Thank you for the link, however it has nothing to do
apparently with these layers.
Someone else told me it happened to them and they
had "Track changes" on. So when turning that off, they
could move the text boxes freely and edit them too without
problem.
I turned on Track Changes to see if I could make the error
happen, but again, on my PC nothing is going wrong like on
their PC. So I do not understand how my Word XP could be
set up different then theirs to not have the duplicates
and errors appear like they see.

Anyway, they turned off Track Changes and it works for
them. I guess that is the important thing.

If you think of anything, I would appreciate the input.
