Brenda Rueter
User has Word 2002 SP3 installed
She has created a simple org chart using the Drawing toolbar. She is unable
to size text blocks in word org charts - they are locked and greyed-out.
This is tied to my receiving my new computer (user now has XP instead of
Word 2000) - I used to have this functionality.
A knowledge base wrote back to me, "If the client is working with the MS
Organization Chart object in Word or PowerPoint, she will be unable to make
specific re-sizing changes. She may re-size the entire chart, or change the
margins within text boxes, but individual boxes remain the same size in
order to keep consistency. Creating a chart using individual text boxes or
autoshapes in either Word or PowerPoint would allow more flexibility in
creating charts and diagrams."
Is this correct or is there some way the user should be able to resize a
single box on demand?
