Drop down Menus

C

Curt Vogel

I am putting together a web site and to make it more user
friendly we are trying to add a drop down menu to our
options. I am not sure what it is called and I am
assuming it is in javascript. We are currently using the
Frontpage 2000 program. We are considering upgrading to
2003 because of the java script options on the program
without having to write code. Is this option for drop
down menu's available on this 2003 program?

I was speaking with a dream weaver user and she stated
that she was using magic menu's on dream weaver if this
helps what I am looking for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Don't have a direct answer to your question....

Have you checked these websites for Java Script? ? ?
They're great!

1) www.dynamicdrive.com
2) javascript.internet.com

They may give you other links/resouces for support!

Good luck!

I am also looking for a drop down menu that will work in Front Page, and will be visible in Netscape. I currently use coding from Dynamic Drive, but it is not viewable in Netscape. Any suggestions
Our website is www.naschools.ne

From my experience, there is a program called DHE Editor which
correctly does Dynamic HTML including drop-down menus. This program is
free (or donationware) and can be found on www.webattack.com. I've
tried it and the code which is output by the program works in both IE
and NN. It even works in Opera. I've sent in a few suggestions to the
author for improvements and he says he will see about putting those in
in future editions of the program (no biggies - just some obvious
corrections). Give it a try. I have been amazed at just how useful
this program is.
