Zeros are dropped in a number sequence beginning with zero. I have a list that contains zip codes beginning with zero. When I imported data, I made sure that I imported as text. After import, that column showed up as general. I changed the column back to text, manually added back all the zeros, and saved and closed. When I opened the file again, that column was back to general and all my zeros disappeared. What am I doing wrong?
