DSN Connection to Form

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I have a database that I would like
results of a form to go to. When I run the ASP page created by Frontpage, I
get nothing but the ASP code. Uhhh... Not what I designed.

When I try and change the form to a HTML file, it seems to work. But tells
me that I must be running to the active server extensions. Those are
installed and running as far as I know.

But, when all is said and done, how do I get the form to connect to the
database? Or even an Excel spreadsheet? I have looked at the Data Sources
(ODBC) under the Administrative Tools of my system. I think I have the
information loaded correctly so that any system on my network can see the
database. But I cannot seem to get information to be processed to the
database.

I also have some code looking for a *.dsn file. Where are those located as
I cannot find any doing a regular search.

Help please.

You must publish the site to a Windows IIS web server that has ASP/VBScript enabled and locally you
can only test if your have Windows XP Pro with IIS installed and you access the site via
http://localhost/webname/pagename.asp

Thank you for the information. That clarifies a great deal for me. I am
remote right now testing the pages on an XP Home. Once I get connected to
the local, then I can get everything uploaded and tested.

Thanks again.
