Duplicate E-Mails

I am receiving duplicate e-mails (in the hundreds) in my
inbox. Seems to be mostly mail that is addressed to
multiple individuals (not spam.)The same messages will
keep downloading until outlook 2003 is closed down.
Am running XP Pro on a Dell XPS B800r.

Any thoughts?

I am having a similar problem, although it appears to be wtih emails that I sent out and for which I'd cc'd myself. I had to disable send/receive and am getting them by the hundreds as well. It is driving me crazy.

Help!

I have solve my problem but I do not think it will help you. All my duplicate e-mail were coming from my Yahoo e-mail accounts (accessed through outlook.) I went to Yahoo Mail and sure enough, none of the emails had been deleted after downloading to Outlook. I deleted all e-mail, including those in the Trash folder and the problem disappeared. I suspect one or more of the emails had a virus that was the source of the problem
