Duplicate emails from a disribution list

We created a distribution list and are using outlook 2000
and exchange 2000. Now when we send emails to the
distribution list all members of the list receive
duplicate emails. I know this isn't a big problem but it
is rather annoying. Anyone that had a similar problem
please share your solution
