Duplicate reminders in Outlook 2007

I have upgraded from 2003 to 2007 & get duplicate reminders on all
appointments/events. No appointments are duplicated, only the reminders.
I've even deleted appointments and started completely new, but the duplicate
entries still pop up in the reminders window.
I have done the /cleanreminders and /resetfolders, but nothing has changed.
Other suggestions will be appreciated!

Try creating a new mail profile and see if that helps. Don't delete the old
profile until you're sure the new one fixes the problem.
