Duplicated incoming mails

Hello,

I receive duplicated emails in my inbox. Lots of the
mails I receive have identical copies, although there is
a difference: one them is in plain text format the other
one is in html. I am using Outlook and the Exchange
server is 2000.
Does anyone know what the reason is for this and what
setting can stop this?
I searched the knowledge base but have not found anything.
