Duplicates contact when attempting to delete

So, if you select a contact and then press Delete, it makes a copy?

Yes, I even reinstalled Outlook. Still, whether I control-D or hit the Delete
icon, entry duplicates rather than deletes. I now have 7 of the person I was
trying to remove. The contacts are on the server (if that helps).

What about when you press the Delete key, like I asked?

The delete key has the same result. It simply duplicates the entry.
