Primer Application 0.96 days

Admix: 423P11/EC-290 (3 to 1 by volume) 0.1 hrs
Induct 15 to 30 minutes 0.25 hrs
Apply the primer to 1 panel 0.1 hrs
Allow the primer to dry for 30 at Rt then 45 min at 150 1.25 hrs

Above is the first task which is the summary task of the ones below. It
shows .96 of a day when it should be more like .226d. The standard calendar
is set to 7 am-11:30 am and 12:30pm - 3:30 pm- This is a 7.5 hour day. Not
sure what is going on. Also the resourse is showing OVERallocated when it
isn't. Also went to Tools change working time and to options and set the
start and end date to match and the total # of hours per week to make std.
calendar. origianally with the 40 hour work week the day was at .90???? sb
..2ish.

Please help,
Barb

Hi,

For starters, go to tools, Options, View, and choose a date format showing
hours and minutes; that will start clarifying things.
And which days are you showing? duration or work?

On top of my first post: duration isn't meant to add up.
When we both have a one-hour meeting tomorrow at 9, the duration will be 1
hour, not two.

I am dealing with duration. The start date for all of these items are the
same day - but dif. times. Should I be putting in times within the day
somehow. It is all the same one person doing all of these tasks for only a
total of .23 of a day still unclear where its it coming up with such a bigger
percent of the day as .9 something

Thanks,
Barb

The duration of a summary is not additive. It is the workable time as
defined by the calendar between when the earliest starting subtask begins
and the latest finishing subtask ends. Using the default calendars, etc, if
the first task runs for 1 hour from 8 to 9 and then there is a gap until the
second task starts at 4 and then that 2nd task finishes at 5, the duration
of the summary task is 8 hours, not 2.
