Duration not displaying in Resource Usage view

I have inserted a column in the Gantt Chart view to show duration. I use
that column for manual input. When I switch to the Resource Usage view it
does not offer the "Duration" column to insert. It only offers Duration1 as
an option. This Duration1 does not show the duration that is shown when I am
viewing the Gantt Chart. Any suggestions on how I can get the Duration to
show up in the Resource Usage view?

The only way I can think of involves writing a macro which would copy the
task duration into the assignment duration 1 field. It is not a complicated
macro, but it would seem like a pain to have to run it. Have you tried using
the task usage view? It contains the duration column.

Thank you for a quick response! I have looked at the Task Usage view,
however, I need to get the tasks sort by resource and the layout of the
Resource Usage is what I'm looking for. I've not created a macro before.
Can you point me in the direction where I can learn how to write a macro?
