Easy auto-startup question

Outlook 2002. Win XP.
After I start Windows, I start Outlook manually. Recently, every
morning I have 2 copies of Outlook running. How do I get that sencond
copy to stop opening automatically? Nothing in MSCONFIG about Outlook.

I have a somewhat similiar problem. I have XP and the latest update to
outlook 2002. I start manually and everything is ok. But a little while
later I can not send or recieve. I have discovered that now 6 or 7 outlooks
are running at once as listed under running processes. I must delete all of
these to be able to email again. Any answer as to how to stop these
additional outlooks from starting up automaticly?

Some common reasons why Outlook will not shut down completely when you click
either the X or Exit, or display multiple instances of it running:

1. PDA synchronization software with your PDA in the cradle.
2. WinFax Pro (especially 10.02 in Outlook 2003) - contact their support
for an alleged fix.
3. Franklin-Cover Plan Plus!
4. COM Add-ins.
5. Mail reminder add-ins that keep a stub of Outlook open in the background
to check for new mail and fire reminders.
6. Anti-virus/firewall programs that are set to scan incoming and outgoing
mail.
