Greetings!

Can you help me please to find out how to launch a field editor?

In Word 2003 there's a "Edit field" shortcut menu item.

Unfortunately that's one which - for whatever reason - isn't available in
Mac Word. I've checked both 2004 & 2008 and it's among the missing in both.

Send a message you MacBU by using Help> Send Feedback. I'll also make a note
to submit it from this end as well - thanks for reminding me!

Doesn't alt-F9 do that? OK there is not a whole field editor program
like there used to be for macros, but it does toggle exposing the
fields for editing.
(OS X's exposŽ nicks various of Word's mumble-F9 shortcuts, so it is
best to tell OS X to use something else if you are a Word field user.
ExposŽ gets boring pretty quickly anyway.

Hi Elliott -

The contextual menu command referred to is a PC Word feature which brings up
the Insert Field dialog (the Field Editor) with the focus on field settings
of the field you right-click it. Although Option+F9 is the equivalent of
*Toggle Field Codes* the *Edit Field* command is missing from Mac Word.
