Edit navigation buttons

Hello,
I originally designed my web page with Go Daddy's Website Complete. I bought
a new computer and this program will not work. I've been trying to edit
buttons on my main web page but can't make changes. Is there a function in
Frontpage that will allow me to redesigh just the buttons with rollover? I
hate to have to redesign a whole web site just to edit these buttons. If your
interested in seeing the page, it's www.PJRealtor.com. This is not a
commercial but if you look at the site, it my help.
Thanks,

Hi

That is an online program is it not?
So I'm not sure why it would not work on your new computer? Have you
contacted godaddy? They might be your first and best bet.
Your buttons are just fine... imo..... but they can be changed if you really
want them too.

The buttons you have use a JavaScript program that uses (from what I can
tell of your source code.... you can have a look for yourself by selecting
view... then source) three buttons that are graphics files. To change the
look you have to change the button graphic. As best I can tell it is ...
button1... button2... and button3 but to be honest with you there is a great
deal of clutter in your source code... actually... it is really scary... but
that is the fault of the program you used ... not your fault.

You can change the buttons (make sure you use the same name for each button)
with a graphic program and then FTP them to your site. That would be the
easiest.

As far a FP making it easy to change for you.... it can but you are going to
have to learn about it's navigation structures or ( if it is version 2003
some of the dhtml features) and then you are going to have to publish with
FP and make sure they have the FP extensions installed. I know that
godaddy's hosting has this feature but their hosting where you use the Web
Software online is different from the hosting they sell on it's own.

Best to you.......

Hi Tom,
The program was bought a couple of years ago and is not there online
version. Thank you for your answer, I was just hoping there was an easier way
than change the graphics manually. To do this I have to also change the text
and find the matching fonts and sizes but it's still better than a whole
redesign.
Thanks Again,

I would still contact them for support.... if you paid them money!

Like I suggested... imo ..... your buttons look ok.

Unfortunately changing canoe's in mid stream can get you wet. My ain't I
profound! lol

If you plan to keep at the web then you might want to consider going ahead
and learning FP. It will be worth your time.

Best to you........
