Editing Project Ent Custom Fields

Hi All,

How to edit Project level Ent Custom fields, once it is
saved ? When i open for the second time and go to 'Save-
As' option and change the project level Ent Custom fields,
i am gettinga pop-up saying

"You cannot overwrite the default version(published) of a
project. To save this project, type a new project name or
save the project as a version other than the default"

I want the option of editing the project Level Ent Custom
Field anytime during Project Life cycle.

Can anybody help ? Am i clear ?
