Editing text

I have received some pictures which i wanted to convert to ppt. I have
succeeded in doing so except for one thing. The pictures came with text and i
want to edit. How can i do so?

You must use a specific image program (Gimp, Paintshop Pro, Photoshop...)
But you can eventually crop the part of the picture where stands the text.
