email field: want email address, not name

Some of my contacts persist in showing the contact's name
in the email field and not the email address. For
printing out the list with name, address, email, I want
the email address to show, not the name. Overwriting the
name with the email address does not stick; it
immediately reverts to name. How can I force outlook to
show the email address rather than the name?

Running Outlook 2000 on XP
