email fonts and styles

While working with labels and/or envelopes last week, I
inadvertently reset by email default font/style so that
all new email i send is formatted in small caps, which i
cannot figure out how to remove. Anyone know how I can
reverse what I did and/or restore my original settings?

You can change this at;
Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Format-> button Fonts...

The default for creating a message is Arial 10
