Email Format and Junk email blocking

When I receive an email, in my preview pane it is in HTML format. Once I
move to another messag and go back to the first message, it hs changed to
plain text and I can't read it or access the links. This also happens,
sporadically, when I open an email sent in HTML formt.

Any Suggestions on how to fix this annoying problem?
