Email from Word

For some reason, I try to email from Word and I get a dial-up box asking me to connect. I have cable,
all the settings are set for cable. Where is this dial-up box coming from and how do I send an emai
from Word without sending it as an attachment? Thanks

Hi Tom,

It's trying to connect with your default email program.
Check your email settings to find out why it's trying to
dial. Also click on Tools, Options, General Tab, uncheck
the Mail as attachment box. Click on the email options
and check how those are set.
