We are experiencing sporadic email latency for Outlook
2000/2002 users connecting to Exchange 5.5 servers. This
happens for users on the same server as well as users
that are on different servers in the same site on the
same network segment. Two questions that I hope someone
can answer for me.
1) At what point, and by which application, is the sent
timestamp placed on the message?
2) At what point, and by which application, is the
received timestamp placed on the message and consequently
displayed in the Inbox?
Any help is appreciated
