Email Newsletter

I'm sure this isn't that difficult, but can anyone tell me the easiest way
to create an email newsletter? I want users to be able subscribe/unsubscribe
on my site, and have their email addresses captured somewhere so I can email
the newsletter to them.

Hi Brian,

Use a form and store to a database.

To do the email create a ASP page using CDO and accessing the database.

Thanks for the info. I'm not a programmer though. I think I know how to do
the form and save it to a database, but no clue on how to create the asp
page for the email, or how I would allow them to unsubscribe. Any chance of
explaining this a little more or pointing me directly to an article that
would explain it. I tried following the instructions in the following
article which I think are along the same lines as what your talking about,
but I couldn't get it to work.

Dear Brian:

Speaking as a graphic designer, I can assure you you can
learn to do this in short order. However, you need a
grasp of some basics in .asp, so I would suggest going to
Amazon.com and buying yourself a copy of Active Server
Pages 3.0, published by WROX. I did all the exercises in
that book for the first several chapters and that was
sufficient to figure out to get an asp page to process a
form, taking the data from that form to populate a
database, and make changes/deletions/additions to it.
