Email Newsletters

Joe

Hello,

I am finding it difficult to get all of the newsletter to
show up in someones email. What do I have to do to get my
mail to show up like say... Comp USA... Oprah... those
newsletters never get shut out? What are they doing we
can't do in Publisher.

Thanks
Joe

One has to have Publisher to open a Publisher file. No doubt the newsletters you
speak of are plain text or HTML.

This is not true for email I can send it to you and if you
open it with OE or Outlook it will appear just as the
document you created (I have my own mail server). Send
your email to (e-mail address removed) and I can show you.
It depends on how the email client is set up. But what I
find is some newsletters never get truncated. I have tried
to send HTML but the pictures never get through
Thank you Joe

Publisher files cannot be sent as a newsletter and be read by folks without
Publisher. They would have to be sent as an attachment or as a web page or as an
image. You may be the only person I know that has the capability of reading a .pub
extension without Publisher.

i know what you are saying but if you send this way

File >> send email >> send as message or send as
attachment or preview email

This will show up inther email as a full doc. but
sometimes the images do not show up.
Thanks
Joe

You are aware that Publisher only sends one page of your newsletter when
emailed correct? If some people are seeing the pictures, and some are not,
then that is a setting/issue with their email client that they are using.
