Email Receipts repeated

Running Win 2000 with Outlook Express 6 on DSL with cable
connection from Netgear wireless access point / router to
desktop and wireless to laptop. Since initiating this
setup, many emails are showing twice in the Inbox of the
desktop but not the laptop. Any ideas?
