emailing contact data

I am having a problem detering how to send contact data in detail format
rather than V card in Outlook 2003. I used to be able to select deatil (
data) or V card format when attaching, but now the detail option is grayed
out. Can this be reset?

I don't know where you might be seeing that option, but if you want to send a complete Outlook contact item item, follow these steps:

1) Turn off WordMail as your email editor in Tools | Options | Mail Format.
2) Choose Actions | New Message Using | Rich Text.
3) Choose Insert | Item
