How do I know whether an email is from Microsoft or not. I
have just had one with a 'Patch' for all email
vulnerabilities..... I guess with the wierdos out there
these days that emulation a MS official email is easy. How
do I tell whether I am about to download a virus or it is
absolutely genuine?

Microsoft NEVER send emails with patches. It's the Swen virus.
