Embedded Objects Dissapear

All of a sudden I have embedded objects that dissapear when I scroll up and
down a page. This happens in both Word and Outlook (since Outlook uses Word).
If I open a saved letterhead, the header and footer (jpg images) show up then
dissapear when I scroll. It prints fine but why would it dissapear?

More info...
1. It is only doing it on one machine and I replaced that machine this
weekend and guess what?...it does it on the new one too!
2. An embedded jpg in an email will not totally dissapear but it distorts
the image like it repeating lines?

Help...I am at wits end?

Just found another post that says it is the video driver. Both my cards were
brand new high end ATI Raedeon so I guess it is the Cataylst drivers.

Anyone else have a suggestion?

Try reducing the hardware acceleration, in this case.
