Embedded PDF file

I've got an embedded PDF file in a word doc. To open it I
double click on it, which brings up the virus warning -
this is fine, but then when I say ok it doesn't open. Then
when I repeat this process it does open. Strange. I've
tried this again and again I had to go through double
clicking and saying ok to the virus warning message before
it would open.

Any ideas why this might be?

Hi Stewart,

You can't embed a PDF document in a Word file: the most you can do is embed
a hyperlink to one. Your warning probably relates to security issues with
hyperlinks
