Embedded video

Ben

I'm creating a powerpoint presentation for class and i
need to put a video in one of the slides. the problem is
that the video is only a link to where the file is at and
it isn't actually in the ppt file. this creates a
problem because if i burn it on a cd it will still look
for the video file from a dir on my computer. so i want
to know is there a way to save the video "in" the ppt
file?

Can't embed video, only link it.
Best way of doing it is to:
Create a directory (folder) with your Presentation and video(s) in it.
Then link THAT version of the video to your presentation and burn that
ENTIRE directory (including the Presentation and video file(s)) to CD.
As long as you burn the Presentation and the version of the video file that
you linked to it to the CD together, the link should remain connected and
PowerPoint won't going looking for the video elsewhere.
That's how I've done it.
