Embedded video

Is there any way to embed a video (mpeg) into a presentation so that I can
give my client a copy on CD for them to use at their discretion? I have
tried linking the presentation videos to a folder (with all necessary videos
in it) on the same CD but with no luck.

Videos are always linked. However, if you link them correctly, they will work
from a CD.

Put them in the same folder on your hard disk as the presentation. Open
PowerPoint and then open the presentation. Delete the videos and then re-insert
them from their new location. Now, when burning to a CD keep them together, NOT
in separate or different folders.

Sonia has all the right information. The only other option is to convert the
movie to a Flash movie (.swf not .flv). A flash file can be embedded into
the presentation, but PPT has very limited control over the movie and the
viewing computer must have the flash player already installed (on at least
90% of the computers).
