Embeded projects

I have a plan that has a second plan embeded. I'm trying to remove the
embeded pproject but failing. I've tried deleteing the task, cutting the
task, etc. all without success. I've also tried looking at the link option
but this remains greyed out. How can I remove the embeded plan?

TLMC,
It sounds like you are using Project 2003 and do NOT have the SP2 update
installed. Try the update and see if it helps.
