Enlarging pictures

M

Monika

I know that this issue has been discussed more than once and I carefully
looked at all of them.
However, it does not work and I simply do not know how to fix it.

I uploaded the big pictures into a folder called "picture_library" and then
into a subfolder called "Amusing". In there are a few pics.

I did a hyperlink www.myweb.com/picture_library/Amusing/4169167 big.jpg

When I then open my browser and type in that link an error message appears.

Any suggestions are more than welcome.

Thanks.

it'd be nice to have the real link to see what's going on here.

in general you should stick to all lower case file and folder names and do
not use spaces either...this may or may not be part of your problem here.

have you actually uploaded the image file?

please post a real link for more help.

Also if it a LINUX server the jpg or JPG on the link must be the same as the
image file. Again as Rob said keep it all in lower case including the
extension jpg.

Rob, Spike,

Thank you so much for your precious help (as ever).

I changes everything into lower case and and spacing and it now works. It is
sometimes just a little thing like that which makes all the difference.

Thanks again.
