Entourage 2004 Spam Blizzard

E

Edward Volchok

I've been using Entourage since it became available. At first the junk
filter worked wonderfully. Now I am getting large amounts of spam,
about 75% of my total emails. My online behavior has not changed, so
that's not the reason for this blizzard of spam. Also, my anti-spam
rules that I wrote for Entourage X no longer catch and trash this junk
mail.

Am I the only person experiencing this problem? Or, is the junk filter
in Entourage 2004 becoming increasingly less effective? And, does
anyone have any effective anti-spam solutions?

Thanks,

EV

I don't recognise this problem. It seems to me that Entourage is catching
about the same amount of spam as in the beginning.

If you need to strengthen your protection you could by SpamSieve
(http://www.c-command.com/spamsieve/). It works with Entourage and you can
try it out for free.

1. Check your Rules and Email List Manager settings. The import from EX to
E04 scrambled some of mine.
2. Also, check the level of protectioon in the spam filter settings. That had
been changed in my install, too.

You should try Death2Spam for supplementary spam filtering. This
should catch everything that Spam Blizzard misses.
